How to manage your rate plans

In order to sell your rooms, you have to have at least one rate plan.

1. Login to our extranet
2. Go to Setting and select Rate Plan Setup
3. Click on Add New Rate Plan
4. Fill in all REQUIRED information
5. Click Save

Since we are now migrating to YCS new interface in phases, some properties will encounter the new interface as below.

Adding a Rate Plan or Modify

Conditions

Rate Plan Name*	The name of your rate plan, this is for your internal use only
Offer Type*	The inclusion of the rate plan based on customer benefits and restriction
External Code ID	This field is for channel manager purpose. Leave it blank if not in use
From*	First eligible date of rate plan
Until*	Last eligible date of the rate plan

Benefit

Benefit

The guest benefit of this rate plan. Make sure that the benefits are consistent with the selected Offer Type and the Rate Plan name

 

Restrictions

Room Type*	Room Type that will be sold on the rate plan
Cancellation Policy	Cancellation policy that will be applied to the rate plan
Sell limit per day	No of maximum daily allotment that can be sold for this rate plan
Min LOS	The minimum number of nights required to book this rate plan. Guest is allowed to book this rates if the number of night is higher than the Min LOS
Min Days in Advance	The minimum number of days in advance for the rates. For example, if you set it as 2, guests can purchase this rate only from the day after tomorrow. Leave blank if rate can be booked at anytime
Max LOS	The maximum number of nights required to book this rate plan. Guest are not allowed to stay more than max LOS
Max Days in Advance	The maximum number of days in advance for the rates. For example, if you set it as 2, guests can purchase this rate for the following check-in dates

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I set up multiple rate plans?

Absolutely, you can set different rate plans to offer different benefits, time periods, room types etc.

Can I delete a rate plan?

If a rate plan is no longer needed, you can deactivate it. Alternatively, if you have planed the active period of the rate plan, you can set up the time period in YCS too. Then the rate plan will be inactive automatically.
